You're interested in becoming a Mason? That's awesome! The biggest hurdle was asking to become a member - now we should give you some information that'll help you decide.
As you've already deduced, Freemasonry is a fraternal organization for good men who desire to improve themselves and find a group of men with like-minded ideas; men you wouldn't ordinarily meet in your daily life. Freemasonry counts as its members men of all occupations. This brotherhood creates a bond that lasts a lifetime. We recommend that you read "Freemasonry for Dummies", a good introductory book to the Fraternity by Chris Hodapp which can be found in the Nampa Public Library and also for sale on amazon.com. |

BeliefsWe are not a religion! We do however, require that a member have a belief in a Supreme Being. We don't care what your religion is, and we don't discuss religion. Our members come from every major religion, so if you or a family member have a question on this, just ask!

Good men betterMen who petition a Lodge for membership must be of good character and good report. This means that we meet with candidates to answer any questions they have, and to make sure they understand the requirements of the Fraternity
